Description

The AIQI (AI Quality Infrastructure) Consortium is supporting the development of practical standards to help organisations navigate the evolving AI regulatory landscape.

The EU AI Act creates a growing need for practical standards that help organisations understand, manage and demonstrate control of AI-related risks. Two important standards currently under development, prEN 18228 (AI risk management) and prEN 18286 (quality management), are expected to play a significant role in supporting organisations seeking to align their AI risk management and quality management approaches with EU AI Act expectations.

This AIQI webinar will introduce these emerging standards and explore their relevance for AI assurance, conformity assessment and regulatory compliance. The session will examine the role of CEN-CENELEC standards in supporting implementation of the EU AI Act, as well as the relationship between AI risk management and quality management systems.

The webinar will be relevant to accreditation bodies, conformity assessment bodies, AI system providers, quality and risk professionals, regulators, and others involved in AI assurance and EU AI Act readiness.

Speakers:

  • Adam Leon Smith, Chair, AI Quality Infrastructure Consortium
  • Frédéric Courivaud, Project Leader for prEN 18228
