One year of the AI Standards Hub
Launched in October 2022, the AI Standards Hub recently passed its one year anniversary. To mark the occasion, we look back over the highlights of the Hub’s first year, and what is to come.
The Hub’s Ana Alania shares insights from the Internet Governance Forum 2023, including from the workshop run by the AI Standards Hub on the role of multistakeholder participation and international cooperation in unlocking the potential of standards as effective AI governance tools.
You can now watch a recording of the AI Fringe event 'AI at a turning point: How can we create equitable AI governance futures?', in which the AI Standards Hub hosted a panel to explore the role of standards and methods of evaluation in addressing the governance needs surrounding foundation models.

The draft of ISO/IEC DIS 42006 'Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of artificial intelligence management systems' is now open for comment until 18 December.
