[Webinar] Towards secure AI for all: Inclusive approaches to AI security standardisation

This upcoming webinar will discuss the importance of promoting AI security from the perspective of different stakeholder groups, consider specific challenges for multistakeholder participation in AI security, and assess if standards can foster an inclusive approach to AI security governance.  The featured panel discussion will explore what an inclusive, multistakeholder approach to AI security standardisation could look like, providing an opportunity to address specific considerations for civil society and other underrepresented groups.

We are delighted to announce that published AI-specific standards from the AI Standards Hub’s Standards Database are being added to the OECD Catalogue of Tools and Metrics for Trustworthy AI. The standards included in the catalogue are a subset of the Hub’s existing database and will be continuously updated as the landscape develops.

CEN-CENELEC JTC21 releases overview of active work items

CEN-CENELEC JTC21, the standardisation committee responsible for developing standards to support the implementation of the EU AI Act, has released a comprehensive overview of its active work items. This initiative aims to provide an increased level of public transparency in response to the unprecedented interest in the committee's work from a diverse range of stakeholders. The published dashboard lists the various standardisation deliverables in development and provides valuable additional context. This includes detailing how each work item relates to existing international standards and mapping them to the ten points set out in the European Commission's standardisation request.
