The AI Standards Hub is a project based at The Alan Turing Institute. The Turing will be the data controller for your data and their Privacy Notice is applicable to the AI Standards Hub.
 

What information will the AI Standards Hub process about you?

 

  • Creating an account ā€“ The Turing will collect your email address, manage a password and host any other information (a photo, biographical information) you might add to your profile.
  • Interacting on the Hub website ā€“ The Turing will manage your contributions and inputs to forums and online training offerings.
  • Attending an event ā€“ The Turing will collect your name, contact details and other information as appropriate to manage your attendance at a virtual or in-person event.
  • Signing up to our mailing list ā€“ The Turing will collect your name, email address and, where relevant, settings and preferences in regard to membership of our mailing list.
  • Visiting our website ā€“ The Turing will manage cookie information according to the preferences you have set via our Cookie consent capture tool.

  • Legitimate interests ā€“ for managing user accounts and the interactions on our platform

Where we rely on legitimate interests, our legitimate interests include:

  • To conduct research and further the work of the Institute.
  • To monitor engagement with and enhance the accountability of our websites and platforms.
  • To research how different groups interact with materials on our platforms.

Our AI Standards Hub partners

 
We may share aggregated data through the platforms with our partners: The British Standards Institution (BSI); the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the Department for Digital, Science, Technology & Innovation (DSIT).

The data shared will not identify you or lead to any or interventions or decision making about you.

Where there is an event set up with our partners, we may share data about attendees as required to administer the meeting. This will be specified in any sign up forms for the meetings.
