This virtual session invites stakeholders across government, industry, civil society, and academia to share their perspectives on ETSI EN 304 223, a draft standard produced by ETSI that provides baseline cybersecurity requirements for artificial intelligence systems. The goal is to ensure the specification reflects practical needs, supports implementation, and aligns with broader AI security priorities.
What to expect:
- DSIT will provide an introduction to the ETSI EN 304 223 standard and its relevance to UK AI security policy.
- Key sections of the draft standard will be reviewed, including supporting materials and alignment with other standards efforts.
- Structured feedback will be gathered through a Q&A and live polling on definitions, implementation feasibility, and gaps.
The aims of the session will be to:
- Share information and background on EN 304 223 and the process.
- Collect feedback on the clarity, relevance, and usability of EN 304 223.
- Identify gaps or areas requiring further guidance, especially from a developer and policy perspective.
