Towards safe, secure and resilient AI: Discovery workshop
Date:
Time:
– 4:30 pm
Location:
Online
Description
As part of the AI Standards Hub’s work programme on Trustworthy AI, we are running a workshop to explore how organisations can work to implement AI in a safe, secure, and resilient way.
We will discuss what standards are needed to address this challenge, including any signposting or guidance that would help organisations and AI developers get more out of existing standards, as well as any priority areas for standards development.
Joining us for this workshop will be guest speaker Wael Diab, chair of ISO/IEC JCT 1/SC 42, the international standardization committee on artificial intelligence. Wael is a business and technology strategist, an industry-recognized expert on digital transformation, and active in standardization and related activities for more than two decades.
Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with others on the challenges and issues of implementing AI, and to evaluate concepts that may lead toward safe and successful AI implementation.
Given the interactive nature of this workshop, spaces will be limited. We are keen to hear from organisations on both the client and supplier side of AI implementation, and from both those who have implemented AI systems and those who intend to but have not yet deployed an AI system.
This event is part of the AI Standards Hub’s wider set of activities on Trustworthy AI.
