For more on the Canadian perspective of international standardization and AI , it might be of interest to read the new report from the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society (SRI), published by the Standards Council of Canada.

For the report, the Institute surveyed the global landscape of AI standards to identify key areas where standards could be leveraged as an AI assurance tool, and examines how standards are essential in ensuring safe and responsible use of AI.
