Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the face of the technological ecosystem and is unlocking unprecedented opportunities for innovation in the UK, as well as on the global stage. The anticipated economic benefits over this decade are significant with estimates predicting that the UK’s GDP will be up to 10% higher in 2030 from the development and adoption of AI.

The launch of techUK’s latest report titled ‘AI Adoption in the UK: Putting AI into Action’ is a celebration of how far the UK has come in implementing this technology across multiple sectors, and a deep dive into how industry and Government can widen adoption to make the country a global AI superpower.

Through this launch event, we are delighted to bring together stakeholders from domains across industry and policymaking to showcase how AI has been put into action. We will discuss some of the more pressing questions around overcoming the potential barriers faced by organisations, from the digital skills gap to a lack of public trust in AI.
