Sara Rendtorff-Smith heads the Division on AI and Emerging Digital Technologies at the OECD, leading the OECD’s AI governance work and driving strategic policy development on responsible AI and emerging digital technologies such as quantum and immersive digital technologies.

Luis Aranda is a Senior Economist in Artificial Intelligence at the OECD, which he joined in 2017. In this role, Luis has contributed to the scoping of the OECD AI Principles and the creation of the OECD.AI Policy Observatory and its network of experts.

Jerry Sheehan is Director of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Directorate since July 2023. He was previously Deputy Director for Policy and External Affairs at the National Library of Medicine, in the National Institute of Health.  

Karine Perset is the Acting Head of the OECD AI and Emerging Digital Technologies Division, where she oversees the OECD.AI Policy Observatory, the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) & integrated network of experts as well as the OECD Global Forum on Emerging Technologies.
